Who are we?

Québec VITAE is the cluster dedicated to developing the life sciences and health technology (LSHT) business ecosystem in the Québec City region. We make sure that everything is in place to develop a stronger, more competitive, more performing, and more globally recognized industry.

Our role

We bring together stakeholders from the fields of business, finance, and research as well as public decision-makers to support Québec City’s LSHT sector through targeted projects and efficient training based on the needs of businesses and researchers.

LIBU: the antimicrobial elevator button

GRB Technologies has developed LIBU, an antimicrobial elevator button that eliminates more than 99% of the bacterial and viral pathogens resulting from contact with users’ fingers on elevator buttons. With this innovative technology, the company hopes to stop one of the chains of contagion of infectious diseases present in hospitals and health care facilities as well as public and multi-residential buildings.
