Genome Canada launched the Genomic Applications Partnership Program (GAPP) seeking proposals which focus on the partnerships of receptors and academia and to promote the application of genomics-derived solutions to address key sector challenges or opportunities facing receptors. The term genomics includes related disciplines such as bio-informatics, metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics etc. The GAPP projects have the potential to generate significant social and/or economic benefits for Canada.
