Our Mission
The ERAC accelerates the emergence and realization of your innovative projects. It is entirely dedicated to its mission of fostering the development of innovative projects in businesses to help them drive their business activities.
The diverse mandates of the Capitale-Nationale’s ERAC aim to:
The ERAC proposes an accessible and personalized service that is tailored to the needs of businesses in all stages of development.
Through five key steps, we build the path to innovation, from identifying needs to accessing financing. Each step is an opportunity for growth and transformation for organizations looking to stand out in an ever-evolving world.
And since each business is unique, we remain flexible and optimize the process based on your situation.
From the very first meeting, we start analyzing your business’s challenges and needs. This assessment provides a picture of the immediate problems as well as your long-term, strategic goals.
Now that we have established together the relevant growth projects to reach your goals, we can focus on your innovation projects. Depending on their nature (product/service development, process development, business model challenge), a realistic innovation strategy is developed, in line with your long-term business goals.
In the third phase, a detailed project plan is designed. This plan includes a clear definition of each objective, the value proposition, the expected deliverables, the resources required, the deadlines, the assigned responsibilities, as well as an extensive financial plan (including support for submitting a financing request). An initial step in accessing financing will be made in preparation for the feasibility studies in phase 4.
This is the step where we validate the project’s technical feasibility. Given the need to access state-of-the-art equipment, this part of the process is done in collaboration with partners (research and development, technical experts, intellectual property) capable of creating prototypes or providing technical expertise governed by a professional order.
Our advisors help your business prepare for presenting its project to public and parapublic financial backers. We also design a monitoring tool to assess the results against the initial goals.
Focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, growth, financing and support, the Entrepreneurial Vision – Québec 2026 aims to make Québec City the entrepreneurial capital of the country within 5 years. It brings together programs and financial assistance measures to grow businesses. The Vision receives over $75.8 million in funding from the Government of Québec over four years. This funding was extended until March 2025 and increased by $19.6 million. The City of Québec, Secrétariat à la Capitale-Nationale and Québec International act as key partners in the deployment of the Vision.
Reach out to Québec International for any questions you may have, to book an appointment, or to discuss your project. Our team will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
